We require that you call our NU-VU Service Department at 800-338-9886 or 906-863-4401 for service authorization BEFORE you call any service agency if you wish to claim a labor expense under warranty. If an operator is having a problem within a week of start-up, always call the installer first to check his work.   If it is determined that there is some type of mechanical failure that requires warranty repair, the Master-Bilt service locator should be used to pick a repair company.  Most areas have specified authorized warranty agents.  In the case of Master-Bilt, they typically have multiple to choose from in a given area.

  • Description of problem
  • Address of equipment, including zip code
  • Contact name and phone# at equipment location:

If under warranty, Southbend will contact a service agent, and the service agent will contact the customer to setup and appointment.  If the problem is due to a product defect covered under warranty, then the unit will be repaired at no cost the customer.  If the problem is due to an installation issue or damage due to lack of proper care which is not covered under warranty, then the customer will be advised on the cost to repair and given the option for the service agent to repair.
